Tugby Results for February 8, 2015

Region performance has been very good recently at the Tugby Field in Santa Cruz.  What that means for the Tugby players is that we can play with four per side rather than just three.  That usually means that games are longer and more "competitive".  I think that the players find them more enjoyable.  Below are the weekly results, followed by the cumulative results for the season.  Come and join us on Sunday at 8 am in Santa Cruz.

Tugby Results for February 1st, 2015

We played two games with six players and then two games with eight players.  The region seemed to hold up very well under the strain and a good time was (hopefully) had by all.  Below are the results for the day and the cumulative results for the season.

Tugby Results for January 25, 2015

January 25 will be a day remembered by me. After the Tugby games, I needed to run an errand in RL.  It was a very windy gusty day and the wind blew the door to the house closed on my finger.  Went to the ER, the pinky tip is broken and I will probably lose the nail.  I don't type as fast or as accurately as I used to be able to!  Anyway, I WILL be there on Sunday for Tugby, but I will be typing slow.

Tugby Results for January 18, 2015

Last Sunday I was motivated to find a fun little toy in my inventory.  I distributed it to the Tugby Captains group.  Look for "Free Ride".  If you would like one sent to you, feel free to IM me in world.  What does it do?  Well, the instructions are below.

"To operate, simply rez the object on the ground near you. It will float just above your head. At this point your friend can right click on it and select Sit Here. They will take a seat on the disk floating above you head. As you walk and fly, they will follow you.

If you friend has a Free Ride disc, they can give a ride to another friend. With a bunch of people you could make a chain of floating friends!"

I acquired this object in December of 2005.  The creator was bUTTONpUSHER Jones, who must have been a Beta member as his rezz date is 10/1/2002.  Older than ME!!

We tried it out before Tugby and Allie took this great pic!  I took people for a ride around the Tugby field pulling them with my Tugboat.  We have six people taking a "free ride"!

We played four on a side and had good sim performance!  Results below.

Tugby Results Updated for January 4, 2015

Last Sunday saw us starting with not very many players (to the point that I had to play!) and yet we ended up with a total of 8 players.  Justin has become almost a regular, I think that Forrest must have overslept, and Burt Artis showed up late for some fun.

I'll see you all next Sunday!

Tugby Results Updated for December 28th, 2014

During this holiday season, we had fairly light attendance last Sunday, but were able to play five games with four players.  It is my opinion that playing with two person teams is incredibly difficult.  One person out of position by just a touch is likely to result in a score.  We were still able to play and I think we had a good time. Below are the results.

The next time we see each other it will be 2015.  Have a great and safe New Years Eve!
