| SYC's Marina has always been a center of attraction in SL Sailing |
Starboards Yacht Club, the oldest and largest yacht club in Second Life, is coming back after several years featuring only one weekly event, The Tugby Races. Nber Medici has faithfully run the races in Santa Cruz region just a little bit north-northwest of the SYC Clubhouse.
Several months ago Kristen Cuervo (now the SYC Events Director) began a complete redesign of the SYC Clubhouse (Hollywood 38, 112, 22) and, with a lot of help from Rich Reynaud (Hollywood Estates Harbormaster) completely redesigned the vibrant SYC Marina which has been very active during the quiet time at SYC.
We invite everyone to drop by Hollywood sim to see the great work they have already done and to participate in the revival of the Club's races, fun events, and entertainment.

A list of just some of the events SYC will be bringing to SL sailors can be seen in the embed pictures of banners at the Hollywood Bowl. Additional staff announcements will be made at our first races which take place tomorrow, Sunday September 23 at 9 AM. Come on by to be in or watch the races and hear the news as to who has been appointed the new Starboards Yacht Club Commodore. Be at the entrance of Starboards Yacht Club on the docks (Hollywood 38, 112, 22) early so you don't miss the exciting news and comments about the new SYC being born again, reincarnated, revived, and "ready to rumble!"
