Last Sunday saw the return of an old friend, Stuart Choche. Stu has been away from SL for the past year, but is famous in Tugby circles not only for his playing ability but also for his outstanding work on the Logo for the Tugby group! It was great to see you Stuart and we hope to see more of you. Please remember that I will be out of the country from May 12th through the 28th. I'll be back in SL on the 29th, but have been asked to help with sailboat races at 8 am SLT that morning. I sent a notice to the group asking for volunteers to run the Tugby games on May 15th, 22nd, and 29th. Please let me know if you are willing to help with that and I will make sure you have the proper permissions. Another sunny Sunday of Tugby in Santa Cruz. The first game lasted 26 minutes and had two ties!! The perfect game. Finally the Green team pulled it out. The second game only had one tie, and the third and fourth none. Oh well... it was still fun.

Last Sunday's Tugby matches were challenging in that SL seemed to be having serious issues. During the second match, we had to stop play and reset the region because the lag was so bad. There were flying Tugboats everywhere!! I was doing an experiment with Live Streaming of the match (see video below). I don't believe that had any impact on the region's performance. If someone knows differently, please let me know. After Tugby, I downloaded the Live Stream video file and edited it a bit. I added a music score and sped up the action a bit. Last Sunday we had 8 players come to play. As always, it was quite competitive. When we first came to the region, the lag was terrible. I reset the region and things were fine. I think that LL had some problems last Sunday grid-wide. Below are the results!
